Backstory
Thyra Crawford is a Capitol born and bred daughter to a designer. Her father wasn’t just any designer, he designed tribute outfits for the Hunger Games as well as designing many outfits for Capitol officials over the years. With her fathers occupation, Thyra grew up around the games, and whilst she did enjoy the fashion, there was something she felt far more drawn to, the combat. As a young girl, Thyra loved watching the fights in the games, it was something that impressed her, something she wanted to do. As the girl grew up, it became more than just a small fascination, it became a sport, an art form, and she loved it. So, she got to work.
Every year, she would copy the moves she saw in the games, working hard to refine them, strengthen herself and improve on her agility, which she did.
As the years went on, occasionally she would question herself, question why she wasn’t afraid of the idea of killing people, question why After all, she had the drive to do it, and she wasn’t going to stop until she was at the top of her game.
At the age of eighteen, Thyra knew she needed to start working. The girl began working in the tributes centre as a trainer for the games. At first she started on smaller stations, and then after hours would train herself on the more skilled talents. A Particular favourite being sword skills. Thyra then began training tributes in working with both.
But, eventually, she made her way up to hold the position of Head tribute Trainer for the games 73ADD. Though, she didn’t get to hold this position for very long without being troubled, for the Rebellion soon began, and there was no time for Games. Now the war began, and Thyra was ready to fight for the Capitol, and for what she believed was right. The girl had never expected to be in the games for herself, and yet she was in the biggest arena yet. This is where she would learn how ruthless, loyal, skilled and perhaps even broken she could be.
